BEAUTIFUL PROVINCE OF PESCARA
Nic Tartaglia is located in the municipality of Alanno, in the province of Pescara, at an altitude of 307 meters, halfway between the Adriatic Sea and the most important mountains of the Apennine chain of central Italy, the Gran Sasso and the Maiella, all accessible places in about half an hour by car.
The area has always been dedicated to the cultivation of vineyards that, until the end of the ’60s, were cultivated in the form of small trees, while from the’ 70s it passed to the characteristic Abruzzese pergola.
THE VINEYARDS
Nic Tartaglia total area of the vineyards covers about 10 hectares, which will reach at least 13 by 2018.The yields per hectare are around 95 quintals.The wines fall within the specificdenominations DOC, Sottozona Casauria and IGT, according to the type.
THE WINES
Nic Tartaglia cultivated varieties are the autochthonous Montepulciano d’Abruzzo, Trebbiano d’Abruzzo, Pecorino and the international Chardonnay and Cabernet.
