Eminente is a new Cuban rum from the heart of an island locals call ‘Isla del Cocodrilo’, whose unusual shape resembles that of its native crocodile.
Imagined by César Martí, the youngest Cuban Maestro Ronero (Rum Master), Eminente is a rich and full-bodied rum that draws its inspiration from 19th-century Cuban sugarcane eaux-de-vie, with all their complexity.
The blend of aged aguardientes and light rums creates Cuban rum as we know it. The aguardiente brings the complexity and depth of aromas, while the light rum adds vitality thanks to the strength of the alcohol.
By focusing on these refined aguardientes, Eminente sets new standards with Reserva made with 70% of aged aguardientes, the highest proportions among all Cuban Rums.
For us it is important that the liquid doesn’t leave the island until it’s been bottled, ready for the consumer. But we’re not talking about an ordinary bottle, our packaging tells a story; it is an incredibly important part of our brand identity.
The textured glass is reminiscent of the scales of a crocodile, the celebrated reptile, whose likeness is seen in the shape of the Island also adorns the label. Eminente is no ordinary Cuban rum, it is bold and untamed, like the crocodile itself.
The labels, made using cotton by-products from the textile industry, are affixed by hand in Cuba. The front label reveals the brand logo and product description using embossing, debossing, and hot gold stamping. The back label, with the form of a train ticket, is an invitation to board for a trip to wild Cuba. The intricately engraved bottle stopper is made of sustainable cork and wood coming from FSC forests.
Once the rum is sipped, the repurposing of the carafe will transform it into a beautiful decorative object: a candle holder, a vase or a jug of water, whatever your creativity will lead you to.

Question 1: Do you already export to Asia? If yes, where? If no, what type of importers & distributors are you looking for in Asia?
Answer : At the very moment we do not export to Asia yet. As Eminente Reserva is a premium rum, we might be interested in very specific markets, always building on experiences and engagement with consumers.
Question 2: What is the most unique and qualitative part of your products, different from competitors?

Moreover, Eminente is one of only a handful of Cuban rums to be given the coveted ‘Denominación de Origen Protegida’ status. Granted by a Regulatory Council, the D.O.P. Ron de Cuba dictates strict rules which ensure the authenticity and high standards of Cuban Rum.
Question 3: When did you start to export your brand worldwide, and what is your development plan for the next years?
Answer : Since we launched in September 2020, we export in 5 main markets for now. For the future of Eminente, we would of course like to introduce the brand to new markets across the world. Let’s see how it goes!
