Question 1: Do you already export to Asia ? If yes, where ? If no, what type of importers & distributors are you looking for in Asia ?
CEDER’S currently has distribution in Australia and Hong Kong, with future plans to launch in Japan, Malaysia and Singapore.
We are looking for mid-sized distributors in the following markets, Japan, Malaysia, South Korea, India, Singapore who are really passionate and motivated to work in the non-alcoholic spirit space, supporting the need for a sophisticated drink experience but without the effects of alcohol. Distributors should have established distribution in the on and off premises and ideally ecommerce space also. Distributing this brand requires an entrepreneurial mindset and a willingness to challenge the status quo to help build the category.
Question 2: What is the most unique and qualitative part of your products, different from competitors ?
CEDER’S is a super-premium distilled, non-alcoholic ‘Alt-gin’ – meaning that it is an alternative to Gin. There are four variants, each one based on classic gin and exotic botanicals, some of which are only found in the Cederberg mountains in South Africa. The botanicals are blended with pristine Swedish water and bottled in Sweden.
Our focus on being an ‘Alt- gin’ i.e. by consistently including classic gin botanicals in all variants makes us unique and different to our competitors. It allows consumers to quickly and easily understand how to interact and serve our product i.e. with tonic.
Question 3: When did you start to export your brand worldwide, and what is your development plan for the next years ?
We started exporting the product in late 2018 and are now available in 14 different markets globally. We have plans to develop our footprint to more markets in Europe, North and South America, the Middle East and Asia over this next year.
