The warehouse is approx. 13,000 m2 with a capacity of approx. 5,000,000 bottles. From our main warehouse we supply everywhere in Denmark and to all types of customers: Shopping chains, supermarkets, merchants, discount chains, specialty stores, hotels and restaurants as well as to the duty-free / travel retail sector and export markets.
Taster Wine A / S subsidiary in Harrislee south of the Danish-German border serves the border trade and northern Germany via its own warehouse and logistics.
The company is still family owned and operated. The second and third generation are involved in the company’s day-to-day operations, and precisely the family ownership helps to ensure a long-term focus on the company’s operations.
In connection with the inauguration of Taster Wine’s new headquarters in 2002, the staff association donated a vineyard. The grape variety is Rondo – the type of grape produced by most Danish-produced wines. The vineyard consists of 108 vines divided into 4 rows of 27 sticks. The expected harvest yield will be 225 liters, corresponding to 1 barrique (dish) – enough for 300 bottles. The vineyard is laid out so that it adorns the entrance to the company.
Taster Wine A / S buys wine and spirits from all over the world and imports wine both in bottle and in bulk. We have a tank capacity of more than 3 million liters of wine in bulk ready for bottling on our own bottling.
At the bottler there is a large self-production as well as bottling of wine, liqueur wine, fruit wine, liqueur and liquor in both bottle and bag-in-box. The bottling plant consists of 6 drain columns, 3 for bottling and 3 for bottling in the bag-in-box, with a total capacity of more than 20,000 liters per hour.
