A POETIC IMAGE IN THEIR VINEYARD
Everything here is the same as it used to be: strictly following the phases of the moon. The vineyard is still taken care of by hand, providing plenty of natural breathing space for the roots of the vines and allowing the correct absorption of rainwater and penetration of the sun’s rays to cater to the maturity of the plump and juicy grapes in autumn.
There is never a hurry to get the harvest underway, because it is the last rays of sunshine in the autumn that give the touch of quality that distinguishes our wines, making them so widely appreciated by connoisseurs throughout the world.
Their diligence has received many credits from both wine-lovers and medias. Paticuliarly, their wine BARBARESCO D.O.C.G. JACCO 2013 RISERVA and BARBERA D’ALBA D.O.C. 2011 ROSS won the GOLD MEDAL in AIN WINE CHALLENGE 2018!
BARBARESCO D.O.C.G. JACCO 2013 RISERVA
Production: Late picking and painstaking selection of nebbiolo grapes grown in a small, particularly prestigious place.
Alcohol: 14% by vol.
Tasting notes: A highly intense, long-lasting floral scent, clear and ethereal, and distinctly distinct with a pronounced withering rose, small fruit, and tar and tufted patterns. Full, dry, earthy flavor, with body, breeding, strong tannins and a good aromatic finish; a rigorous, flawless wine with a rich personality.
Pairing advice: It requires a chance to meditate, allowing its superior quality and complex aroma to be discovered slowly. It goes perfectly with beef stew, hares, chamois, truffle-flavored pheasants, turkeys and very mature cheeses.
