CLOS PUY ARNAUD IS A 12 HECTARES ESTATE 

The estate is located in the AOC Castillon-Côtes de Bordeaux. 

Clos Puy Arnaud is situated on a plateau of limestone soil which contains some interesting fossilised starfish from the Eocene period (also called calcaires à astéries). Renowned since the XIX century, the site is a few hundred meters away from the Appellation of Saint-Emilion.

BIODYNAMIC AGRICULTURE

Clos Puy Arnaud has been run through the principles of biodynamic agriculture for more than 10 years now but they start the organic approach 15 years ago.

Their wines are pure and sincere, spontaneously fermented by indigenous yeasts. A touch of sulphur at bottling time is the only addition they allow. Their aim is to produce fruitdriven and vibrant wines, with great salinity at the finish, in order to attain the quality of the « Grands Vins » of Bordeaux, following biodynamic principles.
