Could you please tell us the story of your winery, when it was created and how it developed decades after decades ?
We are a young distillery created in 2010 in cognac area which is called now the spirit valley.
What sort of wines are you producing ?
We produce vodka based on old Russian recipes from the XVIII century. In this period in Russia the vodka was produced by the Russian aristocracy. There was a decree of Catherin the great that only aristocracy can distill. It was called Viche Pitia which means “ultimate spirits”.
How important are your export distribution compared to national distribution ?
We export 80% of our production.
What sort of distributors are your customers ?
We are distributed on HOreca (On trade) are in etoiles Michelin restaurants and liquor stores. We are ultra premium spirits.
Why your wines are different from other wineries in your area ?
Viche Pitia are distilled in copper pot still and we make maceration before distillation. We are also rye spirits. We have 3 different recipes caraway, lemon&milk and classic.
Do you produce grapes in a organic or environmental friendly method, or with general methods ?
We are artisanal and handmade production. We use some organic elements but are not organic vodka.
Are your wines already distributed in Asia, and if not what are the countries you are looking for new distributors ?
We are in Hong Kong but would like to start in China and Japan.
Is there anything who want to add about your wines, story or any news ?
We are gastronomic vodka and have received a lot of medals all around the worlds. We have received the best vodka in 2015 in the world vodka award.
