“The Executive Cellar – Part 1” saw fierce demand for Domaine de la Romanée-Conti 2005 in jeroboam formats including Grands Echézeaux Domaine de la Romanée Conti which fetched HK$134,750 (US$17,387) – more than double its pre-sale high estimate – and Romanée-Conti Domaine de la Romanée-Conti which realized HK$673,750 (US$86,935) surpassing its pre-sale mid-estimate.
Elsewhere, a case of assorted magnums of Domaine de la Romanée-Conti 2005 nearly doubled its pre-sale estimate realizing HK$563,500 (US$72,710) and an extremely rare case of six magnums of Le Pin 2000 fetched HK$367,500 (US$47,419).
The top five lots included:
- 1 jeroboam of Romanée-Conti Domaine de la Romanée-Conti 2005 which went for HK$673,750 (US$86,935)
- 1 six-magnum case of Domaine de la Romanée-Conti 2005 which went for HK$563,500 (US$72,710)
- 12 bottles of La Tache Domaine de la Romanée-Conti 1978 which went for HK$490,000 (US$63,226)
- 12 bottles of Pétrus 1982 which went for HK$367,500 (US$47,419)
- 1 six-magnum case of Le Pin 2000 which went for HK$367,500 (US$47,419)
